On Thursday we traveled to Lehigh U. to see and hear our Grandson in concert with the Lehigh Wind Ensemble. The concert was a Commemorative Concert to coincide with the 150th Anniversary of the start of the Civil War. The music was excellent, we very much enjoyed the time with Dan, and travel time with family! Although it was a middle of the week concert, and very late at night to arrive back home, it was well worth the time. This is the senior year for Dan, and he will graduate next month, it is important for us to have the time with him.
(there he is, in the back on percussion)

(again a percussion picture, all pictures without flash, the concert hall requests no flash pictures)

(the campus is in full bloom and gorgeous)

(if only we had these blooms at my house)

Thank you Dan for allowing us to share in your wonderful music talents, and the time spent chatting at the restaurant (even with the rubberband in my salad ☺), it was all good!

A rubber band in the salad? New fiber?!
