The resort is gorgeous, beautifully landscaped and peaceful. It obviously is pretty popular for many events. We saw lots of activity going on, Friday night being Prom Night my sister-in-law and I sat on our deck and watched many beautifully dressed couples getting picures taken at various spots on the grounds of the resort. Our hubbies talked and talked, which was good for both of them! On Saturday we saw two weddings as the bridal parties and guests came to the tiny chapel on the grounds of the resort...again beautiful and peaceful to watch!
(the area directly in back of our rooms)
(the pond area in the early evening, walking paths surround this area)
(the chapel, tiny and peaceful)
A trip to the Lancaster area would not be complete for me, without a visit to a few fabric shops...hubby was patient and I was selective with my purchases...as you will see on the following pictures!
(one fabric shop, new to me in that area)
(fabric purchase - just love how the clerks mark the fabrics with tape for the cashier)
(this is a great book ~ explains and shows blocks for the travels of the hobos from years ago)
(a page in the book, selected at random, the blocks seem easily constructed, the measurements are included on each page)
Thank you for taking the visual travel with me to the Willow Valley Resort for just a quick glimpse, it was not easy to select the pictures from the resort, it is beautiful and those folks go out of their way to make your stay very easy and pleasant!

Barb, this place looks beautiful. I would have enjoyed watching all the young people all dressed up! Thanks for sharing your quilt purchases us as well; looks like a cute book.
I recognize that quilt store!
