Our son and his family have a tradition that is so much fun for family and friends ~ watching the **fireworks**!! The town of Lewisburg provides a spectacular show of fireworks each year! Sometimes it needs to be just a wee bit early according to the calendar and not on July 4th, this year it will be this Friday evening. The tradition is we bring lawn chairs, bug spray, and a snack to share! Mike (son) and his family provide the makings for delicious Root Beer Floats!
The group anxious to partake in the evening of chatting, laughing, watching the fireworks and the refreshing Root Beer floats gather on the lawn and watch for the first **flash and boom** indicating the FIREWORKS have began! We are so fortunate that Mike's home is in the area of good viewing and traffic avoidance for viewing these fireworks!

Your plans sure do sound like fun....it has been several years since we have went to see fireworks just because of the traffic.
That's a great idea to have fireworks even if it isn't the 4th. Kind of stretches out the celebration.
