sewing needle needed...

Before heading out for the office this morning, the call came! One more dress needing to have alterations/adjustments for the high school *spring musical* ☺, "help please" was coming from the other end of the telephone, with a number that I recognized as the home phone caller ID for *sweet granddaughter*!

Actually it was very little "sewing needle" help that was needed...the dress as described needed to be with a full skirt, fitted waist, and puffy shoulder caps or sleeves...here you see it! What was needed (?) not much except a few tucks to make the neckline a bit less revealing, and making sure the snap works on the *back bustle bow*...hopefully the dressing room helper SNAPS that bustle ☺!! It is amazing what follow-up *bridesmaids* dresses can serve, imagination at its best here!

We are now up to seven wardrobe changes for ♥sweet granddaughter♥ in the musical and so far they have all passed inspection by the directors...I always hold my breath with each one BECAUSE the musical is in 5 days and if there is a sudden change to any part of the wardrobe...YIKES because it could be putting the pressure on for us! This one will be checked tonight, will it pass?
