(her quilts always include a *frog* to represent "FULLY RELY ON GOD" this time it is her backing)
This quilt is heading to Boston to be displayed and judged, made by Mickey a few years ago, and has been entered into two shows already! It was awarded a First Place and Best of Show at the County Fair when it was first made by Mickey when she was 11 years old! It has also traveled to Philadelphia and judged and awarded a *Perfect Ten* at a festival! It will now travel to Boston to a larger venue for judging! Mickey has been humble about her quilts being on display...and also nervous that they will somehow disappear or be damaged! So far so good, the quilt has returned without a problem...and being a winner! Keeping our hopes for a good result in Boston!
If you wish to see more of the quilts by Mickey please go to her blog and check her sidebar...she displays more of her creativity!

Barb: I can't say enough what a wonderful girl Mickey must be! Her parents did an excellent job guiding her to make good choices in her life, and you and Len did as well when you were the parents. It is so terrifc to hear of a young person who's head is on right. She has success written all over her; you are right to be so proud, gramma!
Wow--she did that when she was 11! Way to go...sometimes I think we can do stuff when we are younger cause we aren't as afraid of failing.
It is a beauty. Hope she wins again.
LOVE it! And congrats to Mickey and her amazing teacher...YOU!!!
