Today
*sweet granddaughter* spent time sewing on the *raffle quilt* that all of you have been reading about on my blog! The first picture shows the back of the shirt that was designed by her friend Kelsey, just prior to the death of Kelsey! The parents had the design put on teeshirts and gave shirts to Kelsey's special friends! The shirts are now for sale at a local shop! On this picture DGD is in the very center of the quilt blocks as she works at placement of the blocks. The design wall that we use is not large enough for the quilt, so it is spread out on the floor for the correct block placement!

Second picture the blocks have been gathered into stacks by the rows...

The rows are labeled and arrows to be sure there is not a mix-up in placement...

And just a neat shot of the stack of blocks...

There is one more step before the blocks become rows, and then the rows become the quilt and that step will be the making of the four center blocks...Log Cabin blocks are needed to make the quilt complete to the design layout! It was very special to actually see it all spread out on the floor! YES IT WILL BE SHOWN SOON :>)!!
