Mickey has now posted pictures of the finished project on her blog ☺ ~ also she mentions receiving an order for another baby quilt from the same Grandma, actually she is needing to do two more baby quilts. One for the month of May for a Grandma that has been a customer for 2 previous baby quilts, and the Grandma mentioned by Mickey (in her blog entry), this refers to her third baby quilt by Mickey for later in the fall(making six baby quilts)in all.
The blessing of all of this is, each Grandma just explains to Mickey the colors they wish to go with (nursery colors most times), and Mickey is on her own, selecting fabrics and the quilt pattern she will use, she loves this and prefers it this way! Her bravery and improved skills becomes obvious with each quilt! I tell you *she* has passed me by with her ability and her awesome color choices! Luv you ♥ Mickey ♥!
YOU GO GIRL ~ your family is very proud of you! Little did we know that at the age of five sitting on my lap and you guiding fabric in the sewing machine would lead do a very talented hobby! It will not pay for college but it can help ;>)!!
